Rare red wine from late-harvest grapes, made only in exceptional vintages. Plum, blackberry, jam, cocoa, spices, leather. Warm, mineral, persistent. Ideal with red meats, mushrooms, soups and cheese.

A powerful, rare and complex red wine, made only in exceptional vintages: a bold expression of time and terroir
Roccolo dei Carpini can only be made when climatic conditions align perfectly, allowing for very late or over-ripening of the grapes. This red appears only in extraordinary vintages, approximately every 6–8 years.
Planted as a natural barrier at the edge of the estate, the vineyard hosts a variety that matures slowly and is unattractive to wild animals. Only with time and a long autumn does this wine become possible.
Deep, brilliant ruby red. On the nose: plum, blackberry, cherry, jam, followed by vanilla, cocoa, clove, young leather, and balsamic, earthy, herbal notes. The palate is warm, structured, mineral with fine, velvety tannins and long aromatic persistence.
Ideal with red meats, semi-aged cheeses, earthy pasta dishes, mushrooms, legumes, and hearty soups.
