Winery Cesca Daniele
In the heart of Monferrato, just a stone's throw from Moncalvo, the project of Daniele Cesca comes to life—a small independent producer of natural wines who has chosen to cultivate the land with respect and awareness. His winery is situated on the historic Hill of the Capuchin Friars, a place rich in suggestion and memory, where an ancient 17th-century monastery watches over the vineyards and preserves their soul.
Since 2016, Daniele has pursued his vision of viticulture inspired by the values passed down from his grandparents: respect for nature, sharing, and authenticity. Each bottle is born from a profound connection with the territory and a regenerative approach that centers on the natural balance of the soil and the environment.
His production focuses particularly on Slarina, an ancient native Piedmontese grape variety almost forgotten, which Daniele has chosen to recover and enhance. Slarina, with its fresh, elegant, and deeply territorial expressiveness, becomes the symbol of his quest for authenticity and his commitment to preserving local wine biodiversity.
His agricultural practices exclude the use of selected yeasts, favoring indigenous ones, and minimize the use of added sulfites, resulting in wines that are alive, expressive, and genuine. Here, immediate profit is not pursued; instead, a vision of long-term sustainability is cultivated, in harmony with nature's rhythms.
Daniele Cesca believes that wine should be the sincere reflection of the land it comes from. For this reason, his wines tell stories of authenticity, biodiversity, and passion. Each sip is an invitation to rediscover the value of time, care, and a deep connection with the surrounding landscape.
Discover Daniele Cesca's natural wines, a pure expression of Monferrato and a testament to a new conscious agriculture.
