Winery Bera
Valter Bera is like a rock star among the wineries of Lower Piedmont, a true faithful interpreter of the best local appellations. And this is no small feat, given that the family has been dedicated to viticulture with passion and dedication for generations. The winery is located on the hills between Treiso and Neive, right in the Barbaresco wine area. And you know what? The love story between the Bera family and grapes began over 100 years ago! However, the winery was founded in the late 70s by Valter himself, who began bottling and selling his wine. Now the estate is run by the whole family: in addition to Valter, there are his wife Alida and sons Umberto and Riccardo. And we can only say that, with so much passion and respect for the winemaking tradition of the area, their wine is truly superb!
The selection ranges from the noble labels of Barbaresco and Barolo, to the dancing Moscato d'Asti, up to the fragrant Alta Langa, the robust Barbera d'Asti and the aromatic Brachetto. But the real gem are the Moscato d'Asti 'Su Reimond' and the super exclusive Barbaresco Rabajà, Basarin and Serraboella, which are a real taste experience. These wines are the result of the passion for tradition that the Bera family carries on with love and dedication. Do yourself a favor and taste them all!
