A splendid idea, that of the Petrini brothers, to give that touch of territoriality to an international vine such as Chardonnay by adding two native vine varieties such as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Pecorino.
Although in small percentages (20% in total) these two typical local varieties characterize this surprising classic method sparkling wine with herbaceous and citrus scents that join the typically fruity and floral ones of the base grape variety. With a stay of 48 months on selected yeasts, this wine gains complexity assuming the classic hints of bread crust and brioche that distinguish the category.
Finesse and elegance are the characteristics that are felt when you taste it, thanks to the silky bubble that tickles the palate and keeps it ready for another sip. Try it in a convivial aperitif and with a fish-based meal, even raw.
