"Elvè" Grechetto Trasimeno DOC from the Madrevite winery is the result of careful craftsmanship and Grechetto grapes cultivated naturally, without the use of synthetic chemicals. The vines, grown in spur-pruned cordons at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level, benefit from a dual exposure to southeast and southwest. After a meticulous harvest, the white winemaking process involves gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts. The maturation takes place for 6 months in steel on fine lees, followed by a brief rest in the bottle before being ready for the market.
The Grechetto of Trasimeno 'Elvè' presents itself with an intense straw yellow color, anticipating a unique sensory experience. The aromatic profile includes elegant notes of yellow apple, white peach, fresh herbs, and jasmine, enriched with mineral hints of flintstone. In the mouth, the wine is deep and complex, with remarkable freshness and a enveloping structure, culminating in a pleasant and fragrant finish.
This Grechetto of Trasimeno is ideal as a companion in the first years after the harvest, perfect with traditional dishes based on freshwater fish, such as carp in porchetta. Let yourself be captivated by the uniqueness of this wine, a symbol of excellence and tradition from the Madrevite winery.
