The flagship of the Petrini brothers. A Montepulciano d'Abruzzo endowed with great personality, thanks to the genuineness and purity of its grapes, which, like all the others owned by the company, are grown organically, and to the vinification method used. In fact, after the maceration of the must and the separation of the marc, this wine is decanted into French oak barriques, where it will rest for 18 months, before moving on to the steel tanks, where it will remain until bottling.
The resulting result is a wine with a deep ruby red color, with a light garnet veil. With an amazing, intense and complex taste-olfactory length, but which does not lack elegance and finesse, with deep hints of ripe red fruit, dried violets and spices.
Definitely recommended with meat-based dishes with a strong flavour, even elaborate ones and even better if sheep or game, also excellent with long-aged cheeses.
