An elegant and structured Nebbiolo, aged patiently to fully express the character of the Ghemme terroir
This Ghemme DOCG undergoes spontaneous fermentation and malolactic conversion in temperature-controlled steel tanks. It is aged for 34 months, including 18 months in large French and Slavonian oak casks, with the remainder in steel and bottle.
Ruby red with purple highlights. The nose is intense and layered, with notes of black cherry, violet, tobacco, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is harmonious, structured, persistent, with a slightly bitter finish that adds balance and personality.
Excellent with red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
