A bold, structured organic Merlot aged in oak to enhance depth and varietal character
This Monferrato Rosso DOC is made from 100% Merlot grapes grown organically and vinified through spontaneous fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine then ages for around 12 months in large oak casks, developing complexity and balance.
Deep ruby red in color. The bouquet is bold, balanced, with light herbal tones, recalling ripe black fruits and subtle vegetal notes. On the palate it is dry, full-bodied, and long-lasting, with a warm and enveloping structure that expresses Merlot’s strength in a Piedmontese key.
Excellent with red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
